Courtley is a fictional village in the North of England.
The village is the main setting for Curriculum.
History[]
The village was started in 1830, by settlers who wanted to set up a place of convenience for those travelling to Scotland. It was small until iron was discovered in the 1870s, and the village grew to have a school, and a railway station.
In the First World War, the mine had artillery to defend against Zeppelin attack.
The mine was closed in the 1950s, and the railway station closed in 1960, due to the British government cutting the rail network in half overnight.
The school in which the player goes to was founded in 1992.
